Painting the Majesty of God's Creation |

About Me-
A self-taught artist residing in the NW Ga area. I have developed my own style by incorporating the wet on wet methods as taught by William Alexander and Bob Ross with traditional methods of oil painting. Several have asked me what "style" I paint in. While I hate classifications and limitations, I refer to my artwork as "Representational". It's obviously not photo-realism, nor can it be called truly impressionistic. I feel that the subject matter and the mood should dictate the style.
I am primarily a Landscape painter, but I also do an occasional portrait. If you are interested just contact me for pricing and information.
I have participated in many juried and non-juried events in the NW Ga & SE Tn area, and have sold both online and privately to collectors all over the Southeast United States. I have always been mainly a studio painter, but have recently begun painting en plein air. A very challenging and relaxing endeavor.

-Artist Statement-
Nothing is as relaxing and as peaceful as viewing nature in all it's glory. In today's overcrowded and often hectic world, few people take the time to enjoy the handiwork that God created in nature.
What I try to create is a moment of that nature suspended in time that everyone can enjoy. Something that, if only for a few moments can transport us from that busy lifestyle into a location of calm and serene to relax and rejuvenate the spirit. A place of wonder that a person can stand and view the awesomeness of God's handiwork. Whether it be a snow covered mountain or cattle grazing in a pasture. No political or moral statements; just beauty.
I pray you enjoy viewing these pieces of art as much as I did creating them. God Bless.
